Maffe's score for the feverish horror short, "Thorn"

Three years after the release of the sucessful short film, "Milk Teeth" (2020). Maffe teams up once again with visionary young filmmaker Felipe Vargas in a new short, "Thorn".

This bite-sized horror film delivers a strong and concise scare wherein two friends are trapped in a greenhouse by a murderous forest creature who uses their love for the environment against them in a sadistic game for their lives.

The score is just as to the point as the film, delivering an appropriate, bone-chilling soundtrack and also incorporating various twisted and distorted Irish instrument timbres, suiting the monster to whom they belong.
